Victory in the Pacific

Victory in the Pacific

In 2006, the Ned Flanders XI Cricket Team departed Australia in their quest for world domination. During their travels to the pacific island of Vanuatu, Team captain Matt Young compiled a journal of the tour so that the team would always have a record of this momentous occasion. This Tour Diary, entitled 'Victory in the Pacific' tells the story of how a team of local cricketers from Brisbane acted on their dream to play international cricket on the world stage. Detailing the tour from its initial conception, through to the planning, fund raising, the tour itself and the journey home, 'Victory in the Pacific' is compelling reading. Be warned, it is 19 pages long.
